Local Pan-API Resources

WHERE TO FIND API GROCERIES
Safeway, Target, Wildberries and the North Coast Co-op all have a selection of Asian grocery products.  But Humboldt County also has locally owned small Asian grocery stores!  If you need curry paste, special meats, produce, or snacks not found at your average grocery store, try stopping by one of these:
  • Lao Oriental Market at 2908 E St. in Eureka
  • Asian Oriental Foods at 2338 Albee St. in Eureka
  • Asia Market Central at 1125 Summer St. in Eureka

HSU CAMPUS RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS
Humboldt State University has some Asian Pacific Islander cultural clubs open to students who identify in that group or who are interested in learning about these cultures. There are also other cultural clubs open to sharing between different groups, as well as departments and services on-campus that can serve as resources and allies.

COMMUNITY API RESOURCES
There are many organizations and business that support and promote subjects related to the API perspective here in Humboldt. Here are some that have reached out to collaborate with A.P.A.S.A. to be allies for the API community. If you would like your API organization or service to be included, please contact A.P.A.S.A. at apasa@humboldt.edu.
